Ghost Street
Who would seem to ignore clarity, in my absence now?
White glow summoning
my own intuitions
reaching hands touch the wall.
The vastness we seek, in the same rooms, we think.
We only want you, when we want.
Convictions splintered...
Giving judgment: an arrow shot in the dark.
Memories recollecting
heed the shot, pierced the mark.
The thinning veil of perception
left alone until we're called,
a ghost stands under streetlight
teetering porch hear the knock.
Move with purpose
hesitation: regret is, coming back for you.
Your silence,
turned to a roar
can you face,
what's lurking at the door?
Mistake
Me
For an entity.
A forgotten visage
of your neglective idolatry.
Chasing you, chasing dawn
The thinning comes, the veil is drawn.
Systemic: you drain us at the core
wasted years, always wanting more.
No turning back from silence to a roar
keep pretending,
there's no one knocking on your door.
Close your ears when the ghost starts to speak.
Are you afraid, of the truth it will bring?
