Replicant
At night I find my self mumbling, lips puttering,
fumbling through my brain
displaced anger my tongue is now shoveling
talking under breath
clinching chair, swirling glass,
veering off, and now I'm wandering.
My hate is not lost,
I found the place where it aught to be.
The darkest zone of my mind on this line
has never really accosted me.
Losing patience and my time.
Wasting words
for those who aught not to read.
Ego strokes your soul,
the false spark you think you hold.
In the life you lead, you stroll.
When you sit, you sleep, it's sold.
Your beliefs in your insight,
with your opinions like mine
Is the will to make turnips bleed.
This coffin fodder's for the sheep.
So I write therefore I can.
My tongue is Leviathan.
Millions dreaming in sunken sums
burning bridges, battle shunned,
In the illusions of the drive.
As life your goals are dying.
Leaving a legacy is like a season,
it passes with each weekend.
It will not set in stone
Nor is it unique as a snowflake so,
What I wish to really say,
Is that: "They all are made the same."
So what you think is different,
remains jaded sincerely, with my indifference.
So to whom it may concern
You may surely learn
If you think you're gifted,
These words are math
You and I equal statistics.
We were not born as presents,
Nor trappings or wrappings, you peasant.
Take this from a poor one.
In death your record reads none.
You can read and skim or scroll.
I have no patience for friend, or foe.
