Burn the Remembrance
When I go back to the time we met,
I chased across the ocean, I gave up my limits
The miles I walked, ignoring the distance
it was just an illusion to fulfill unhappiness.
I can't relate. Can't look you in the eye
I can't seem to get these feelings, to subside.
No matter the thought, when I yearn to talk
You left me alone with my thoughts
You're a dangerous game, no one plays
Let's go back, back to the day.
You stomped my will and tore open scars
Left me cold and stoned after you left my arms.
You're the darkest day no one expects to see
A moment with you is wishing for eternity, out of existence.
Burn the remembrance. Take these pictures. Throw them in the trash bin.
