Dead Eyes See No Future
Cut two cloths,
& tear open the veil,
Meander above broken glass,
Kicking shapes, a hovering place
Where the mind sits still, perhaps?
Abyssal Chasms of this haunting void,
Can we pretend we are not welcome?
I dip my feet beyond your reach
I take a bath in abominable blackness.
Coating skin, with ink from pen:
I swim in a lake of madness.
For every drip dragged by tip,
Running lines of a cacophony, tragic.
Sink below where mouths now hold
Smirking teeth that click to chatter,
I rattle my bones in my murky home
As I dot the end of one last chapter.
Close your eyes
There's no difference
To the vision of a seething nightmare
Placing fate, where the pen once played
In the passage of the inking nite-glare.
