Finding Solace, an S.O.S to the Soul
Salvation, rests in your hands
No words spoken
Why do we go here again?
Take these words with you, while we sleep.
Rest your eyes,
Tomorrow's a memory.
Look at me, like you did before
You close a door, when the truth hurts more.
Count out the stars
Stretch out the limits
Cover the distance
In the space of forgiveness.
Point out the lines
Sought out dimensions
Seeking closure, a liars retention.
Everything-is-shattered
Fractals capture voices fractured
Reflections,
Show your insides on the outside
The colours moor: the patterns
Shapes break in refraction
Beyond the light, you once captured.
Look into, your deceptive lens
Could you say we'll be friends?
Could you say you'll be there again?
Could you map out where we once had been?
Could you take it back? Take it all back?
Rewind the time;
Develop the scene
Expose the film
Record the dream.
Chasing prisms,
Glowing prisons
Look, the cycle spins!
Coming back...
Remember the past times
All the hurt, on the landlines
Seeking solace in the skylight
Rest now, it's your bedtime.
Watch now, what you've become;
Yesterday/today, tomorrow's the same.
Octagons, of our thinking space.
Lost on the spheres of our living space.
Count the hues,
Count the shades you can't lie through.
What exposure do you adore?
A Monochrome sight
In a Technicolor world.
We flew over the distance
Found ourselves
Back in our own reminiscence.
The failure:
How the heart flutters replaying our weekends.
Rendering speechless
Feeling defeated
When we took our leap and drifted off into space.
The place that embraced a timeless age
But lapsed in a wormhole where memories remain.
I tried to find solace;
The salvation of moments
No chance at life and no chance at home and,
How do we float in a starless ocean
When light bends our hope and blots out our glowing?
