An Augury on the Ohio
An astounding light
Incomprehensible to fools
Flying over Southern Indiana
Interweaving shrapnelled petals
Along starry pools.
Hand in hand—velvet-lipped
She leads out-of-body breath
rendering Ohio speechless.
A dispossessed voice of beauty
An oracle's ocean devoured
Ingesting all material, all nothingness, all want.
Brightly feathered,
An augury of heartbeating reverberates on reflection,
Nodding off — to the thoughts of a lofty love.
How this voice rejuvenates,
Reawakening this fountainous wound.
A simple song ov beauty
By eyes, with this... my burning paradise.
