of yew sewn sinew...

Roll back the sod with tongue
For the ghosts of Sauin come
The old black dog of omens taught
Down a dirty road of headstones --flourished

Let's sing a serenade
By turnip with lantern flame
Bearing light for the hearthen fire
Twig & Sprite ignite ne'er the eyes of Púca

Salted circle, sealed with balance,
Drawn away by ghoul-fed malice
Iris heaps bloom orchid sleep
A burial gown in repose for honor

A broken wish once wanted
Departed dearly as a hopeful promise
'Til the end, it proliferates
Sworn by life -- that was a known to count on

At sundown: table set
Thinning Veil, --our house is haunted
Communing with those other realms
Ov the dying dreams once learned to lean on

Caressed, the ever nite
Beaming bold blue Nyxful sky
Showered every day in woe
By the comet tossing funerary flowers

... That • We • Mourn ...

When asking, Artemis for favor
Under harvest moon plucked scythen fields
That Demeter's bereft once labored
Sanguine, of the ember stones
The sounding mumming of the tabor,
Feasting with a skeletal grin
On memories missed that were savored

Mulling scents that autumn hinted
Through the knocking at our door,
Ring a cider'd bite -- on the wind of geist
Rushing leaves against the boards

If Death need dance by the Elysian well
Invite the shroud to flyte and spin,
For if the reaper is waltzing through
Greet the greatest love that comes with it
