The Nihilist Who Loved, Dearly
From a white light that shot
Through a blackened window pane
I traced its line right back to you.
In the vastness of the void
My wish implored,
Seeing the lunar face that I was used to.
Like broken crystals, I too, was shattered
By those that I had once adored.
I shelved my dreams, my wants, my things,
To gaze upon you, amour.
Watching speckled flames
The stars dimming rained
Where fermion expanding resided,
From the moment we met
Catching a breath,
Your heart and words
Breathing me to life.
And all of the things
Once forgotten and once dreamed
Holding hands when closing eyes..
I would place my head on your breast
Dying with you beside me.
Should tonight we would make our resting wake
Holding on 'til caskets close,
Even in death I would leave my breath
For the chance to sleep with your ghost.
