Thoughts of a Forest (In November)
Serenity in coverings,
Muffling the sounds of what comfort brings.
Frigid breathes of winter's heft,
Farewell, my dear,
Summer sleeps.
Low-laying fog
Autumn trees,
Freezing shallow waters: the rustling.
Little inching flakes
Tumbling,
November's rolling over, it's nestling.
Cold December showers
From the North,
Keep your fire stoked
Nice and warm.
Should you need a lover, find a thorn.
Watch where you'll bleed, don't stain the snow.
